Engage with the profound and inspiring art from the industry's leading figures.
Months of Vengeance was initiated in 2023 following initial contact with artist Jon Henry and a coincidental encounter with artist Brooke Cormier. The program's concept aimed to invite industry professionals to host standard-length exhibitions during annum quarters, while the Weeks of Vengeance program underwent its refresh cycle. Since its inception, Months of Vengeance has proven to be a resounding success, with every participating artist generating sales and contributing to the gallery's expanding international influence. Our program has also pushed boundaries by showcasing realist painter Brooke Cormier's debut abstract series, 'Treasure Hunt', and hosting the Canadian premiere of Jon Henry's internationally acclaimed work, 'Stranger Fruit'. Months of Vengeance is not only a gallery event but also a community-sponsored initiative, with the active involvement of neighboring small businesses collaborating to support its production. These local partners contribute resources, services, and promotional efforts, fostering a collaborative spirit that enhances the event's reach and impact. Their support is instrumental in creating a vibrant cultural experience that celebrates art and strengthens community ties.
By bringing in acclaimed talents, we aim to create enriching experiences that spark creativity and cultivate a vibrant cultural environment. These artists will showcase their work through captivating exhibitions and interactive sessions, allowing our community to experience art in dynamic and engaging ways. By connecting directly with the artists, attendees will gain unique insights into their creative processes, fostering a deeper appreciation and encouraging artistic growth and collaboration within our community.
This program is not solely dedicated to the Toronto locale but warmly welcomes artists from all around the world. We believe in the power of diverse perspectives and the richness that international talents bring to our community. By inviting artists from various backgrounds and cultures, we aim to create a global tapestry of creativity that transcends geographical boundaries.
